1. Agreement
These terms apply to the Did It Tho iPhone app and this website. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the app. You agree to give an email address you control, to keep your password to yourself, and to be responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
3. What the app is — and is not
Did It Tho records confirmations that you enter. It does not observe the physical world and cannot verify that an action actually took place. A receipt is evidence that you tapped a button at a time, nothing more.
Do not rely on the app for safety. It is not a security system, a medical or medication-adherence device, a fire-safety product, or a monitoring service for another person. Never use it in place of checking something that could cause harm.
4. Your content
Your checks, receipts and photos are yours. They are stored on your device, so we neither claim rights over them nor have access to them.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to interfere with or attack the service, to try to access another person's account, or to reverse engineer the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law.
6. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue features. The app is under active development and we cannot promise it will always be available or error free. Account sign-in needs a network connection and depends on services we do not control.
7. Data loss
Because your receipts and photos are stored only on your device, deleting the app, deleting your account, or losing or resetting the device will remove them. We cannot restore them. Keep your own backups if that data matters to you.
8. Tho+ subscription
Did It Tho is free to use. Tho+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited checks, Photo Proof, custom reminders and searchable receipt history.
- Length and price. Tho+ is a monthly subscription at $2.99 per month in the United States. Prices in other regions are set by Apple's pricing for that region and are shown to you before you buy.
- Free trial. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid monthly subscription automatically.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in your Apple account settings: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are in, and you keep Tho+ until that period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Unused trial time. If you subscribe before your free trial ends, the remaining trial time is forfeited.
- Payment and refunds. Payment is charged to your Apple account, and all purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price changes. If the price changes, Apple will tell you and ask you to agree before the new price takes effect.
Tho+ unlocks features in the app. It does not add cloud backup, and it does not change the fact that your receipts and photos are stored on your device only — see section 7.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss arising from relying on a receipt as proof that a real-world action occurred. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You may stop at any time by cancelling any subscription in your Apple account settings and deleting your account and the app. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
11. Changes
If these terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
