Common questions
What does the app actually do?
You make a list of things you second-guess — locking the door, turning off the stove, feeding the dog. When you do one, you tap it. The app saves a timestamped receipt, so later you can check the app instead of your memory.
Does it know whether I really did it?
No, and it never claims to. The app records that you confirmed something at a certain time. It cannot detect the real-world action, which is why a missed reminder shows as "no confirmation recorded" rather than telling you that you forgot.
Where are my receipts stored?
On your iPhone. Receipts and Photo Proof images are not uploaded or synced to a server, so they stay private — and they do not move to a new phone on their own. See the privacy policy.
Why do I need an account if everything is local?
The account keeps your setup yours — your name, your checks, your reminders — and keeps separate accounts on a shared device from seeing each other's data. Only your email, password and display name are held.
Do reminders work without signal?
Yes. Reminders are scheduled by iOS on the device, so they fire with no internet connection and nothing is sent through a server.
Can I change a reminder time?
Open the Reminders tab, pick the check, and set the time. Reminders repeat at the times and on the days you choose.
How do I take a Photo Proof?
Turn on Photo Proof for a check. Confirming it opens the camera with a framing guide; what you see in the frame is what gets saved to the receipt.
The app says it can't reach the server.
That means the account check failed, usually a connection problem. Tap Try again. Your receipts on the device are unaffected.
How do I delete my account?
Profile, then delete your account. This removes the account from our authentication provider and clears that account's data from the device. Deleting the app removes local data too.
I forgot my password.
Use the reset link on the sign-in screen, and we will email you a way back in.
Does it cost anything?
The first release is free. If a paid tier arrives later, the price will be shown clearly before you are asked to pay, and nothing you already rely on will be taken away without notice.
